Mentoring Programme Co-ordinator

Background information

Chiltern Lighthouse Mentoring is a local charity which aims to improve the life of vulnerable young people aged between 8 to 14 years old. We run an early intervention programme.

We are a registered charity and limited company who have been providing this service throughout the district since 2005. We work in partnership with many referral agencies including Buckinghamshire County Council ( Children’s Services), Social Services, Schools/Colleges, NHS, Youth Offending Service and others.

Job Requirements

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic person with excellent people skills and experience. This should be a well motivated individual happy to work on their own initiative. The role would particularly suit a creative and flexible individual who enjoys running a small team of people and is able to interact happily with young people. Appropriate training will be provided including mentoring skills and train the trainer.

Area

Buckinghamshire.

Fixed Term

2 year contract.

Hours

Casual up to 12 hours per week. This is a new role in the stage of development and the hours could increase

Salary

£10.00 per hour.
